We are two equally crazed sister with an addict for Nollywood Movies. I think our obsession with nollywood began from our childhood because we grew up with Nollywood. I can still remember my first movie which was "Living in Bondage", the first Nigerian movie to be produced. After that moment, at every family occasion, the children would be sent out to rent good movies from our local dealers for the family. I grew up with Genevieve Nnaji, Omotola Jalade Ekiende, Pete Edochie, Patience Ozokwor, Nkem Owoh, Emeka Ike, Ramsey noauh, Pat Attah, Nkiru Sylvanus, Sam Loco, John Okafor, Chiwetala Agu, Aki and Paw-Paw, Stephanie Okereke, Stella Damascus, RMD Muna Obiekwe, Chiege Aliesigwe, and all the other foundations of Nollywood.
Recently we noticed that the nollywood movies we love has begun to loose its morals and value and that anyone can just write a script. We usually watch movies as a family but nowadays our movies have a lot of inappropriate scenes that should not be viewed by some. We had wasted so much time and money watching useless movies, or repackaged ones.
My sister and i sat down one day to watch a Nollywood movie, My Baby Boy, and that is what pushed us over the edge. I could not believe such nonsense was produced and released in Nollywood. We set out to let our view known on Nollywood movies and thus our website was born.
We are not here to Condemn Nollywood, but to bring our unbiased opinion of the movies that are representing the artists of Nollywood. We hope you enjoy our website and join our discussions.
Sincerely
Chi♥
