Tonto Dikeh's Newest Tattoo

In a recent interview, Tonto Dikeh said that she has a total of 57 tattoos on her body, so when she tweeted a picture of her newest tattoo, i was not suprised. 

Honestly, i dislike tattoos and do not see the need for one to alter their beautiful bodies. I mean what is the beauty of a permanent painting on your body? So i myself, was shocked, when i took tonto's side over the "controversial" tattoo.

Controversies seems to always follow Tonto wherever she goes! Recently, during her damage tour in Houston, Tonto got and tweeted this picture of her newest tattoo. She got negative comments and all, but she handled it "head strong" and "fearless". Other than the negative comment, one thing that caught my eye was the discussion over it is how much it will limit her acting.

I do not believe that a tattoo will limit her acting, and i will tell you why. I had someone tell me that since she is an actress, her body does not belong to her, but to her job. And i totally disagree with them. Its her body and she is allowed to do whatever she wants to do.I mean, except  for the fame acting might give you, it is just like every other job. We see school teachers with tattoos, children with tattoos, business men and women with tattoos everyday. Don't their body belong to their job too? Tattoos are a personal thing and one should be smart enough to cover it up when it comes to their business. There is always make-up, and many other methods that Tonto can use to cover up that tattoo. She cannot let her job dictate what she can do it her life. Also, Tonto already has the appropriate connections in Nollywood, so as far as her loosing movie roles over the tattoo, you can cross that out. Tattoos does not affect ones acting..after all we see it all the time in Nollywood Movies: a good girl with a breast tattoo, a village girl with a back tattoo.. Its nothing new. So why the big issue on this one?

I think the whole issue is more on the fact that its Tonto with another tattoo, than it is with her acting or any other issue. People want to criticize her for it, but the truth is, she is just as free as any other person to get a tattoo. Whether you choose to complain or not, we know its Tonto and that nothing will stop her from doing what she wants to do.
