RIP Nollywood Special Effects

I think it is safe to say that Nollywood has brutally murdered and killed special effect. In no comparison to Bollywood nor Hollywood, over the years i have expected some improvements in the special effects. My Nollywood is getting there, slow and steady but we are still working on it.

Watched the most annoying movie that has ever been produced in the Nolly/Ghana Movie industry, pieces of my hair still lays on the floor from the pure frustration. Bad enough, there was this one scene i will never forget. Ever.So it was the usually armed robbery scene, but this one was poorly executed and utterly butchered. 
The person getting robbed, let's call him Emeka, and the armed robber, let's call him Don Capon. As Emeka struts his way home, we, the audience, see Don Capon sitted on the pavement and naturally of course Emeka does not suspect anything. But we, the audience do, because this scene has been overdone in so many movies. Anyways, going back, As Emeka approaches, we see Don Capon reach for his gun approaches Emeka and shoots him dead. Now what could be wrong? THERE WERE STARS FLYING OUT OF HIS GUN. Stars...Freaking stars mehn. Omo na for wish world Naija take see stars commot for gun.

Common Mehn! I don't except jumping from building, but i expect something much more greater than this. Oh it hurts! And it is not only this film, it's countless and numerous of films. Biko, if you cannot do it and it is not of grave importance to your movies, Ayam begging no do am. 

*sigh*

Una hear? My own don finish. But make i beg una, i no get hair like oyinbo wey i just go dey remove Fia Fia. Biko nu? Eh?
